I have an EOTech on my short AR15, and it works good for fast target acquisition, and getting on a coyote sized critter and dispatching it out to 200-250 is fairly easy, once you get used to the sight. I have a harder time trying to shoot smaller objects (jackrabbits, etc) past 100 yards with one shot kills. Mowing 'em down after the first miss is pretty easy though.

I swap between a Leupold Mark 4 Tactical 3.5-10 and the EOTech depending on what I am doing with my gun.
