Default RE: Cedar Hollow Ranch-Central Kansas Hunting

Bruce-
The muzzleloader only season is in September, but you can use a muzzleloader
during the regular firearms season in December as well. My experience with
September is that it can be a bit warm here in central Kansas for good deer
movement, but it can be done. As for size of deer, yes we have had 150-170
class bucks on our properties, but they are not an everyday occurrance.(just
being honest) Pope and Young class deer can be taken most of the time. We
are closest to Wichita Mid-Continent Airport, 90 miles away, most guys rent
a truck to drive to our Ranch but I would work anything out if needed. I bow
hunt out of 15 foot laddar stands and they would be available for you to
use. Our cabin sits on one of the properties, so you could walk to your
stands. I would take up to 3 hunters at a time for a semi-guided hunt. For rules and Regulations, visit www.kdwp.state.ks.us/hunting for up to date information, dates etc. You may visit my website at www.cedarhollowranch.com for more information about what
we offer. Thanks for the interest.
