I never realized I was within about 1/16" of getting the cock feather on the tip of my nose making a second anchor reference.
Now that's something I wouldn't have thought of. I read this, then grabbed by longbow and went outside and tried it. It made a huge difference! I shot a few groups that tempted me to go and grab my camera and post them on here. Ishot a few 2" or less groups at 10 yards. One of the groups I was very happy with... one arrow each, in sequence, at 10, 15, 20, 25 and 30 yards. The first three were in the 2" bullseye. The 25 and 30 yards shots were within3". Believe me, that's good for me. It started to rain, and as the feathers shrank, the tighter groups went away. Oh well. Anyway, thanks for the pointer, Matt.
