I' ve just started to shoot with a release and am having trouble with a consistent anchor point. I already use a kisser button but am wondering if a peep sight would provide another constant as an anchor. Oh by the way I shoot using a pendulum sight(Savage). Would the peep sight work with a pendulum sight? Does anyone have any experience using a pendulum sight with a peep sight?
Thanks.
Good question, I used a peep sight for 3 years altought I tried variuos brands and sizes I never shot as consistant as I felt I should or had before switching from fingers to a release. Knowing I needed an anchor point ; now that I didn' t have my fingers in the corner of my mouth it seemed logical to use a peep sight both as an anchor and aiming aid. Probelms started early for me and never went a away, not enough light, too big a hole that centering it on my front pins (at the time) was to vauge. This time last year my goal was to elimanate it before bow shooting got serouis in July. Alot of reserch went into me ending up with the Timberline No Peep. THIS THING IS A GOD SEND TO ME. Works great as an achor. great for alinment and getting rid of bow torque, nothing on my string to slow it down. It just so happens I also use a Savage Pendulum Max sight and took two deer from 16' up, one at 7 yards and another at 18. Can' t say enough about it ,others I hunt with use it with a pendulum and love it also. Check it out!!!
