Default RE: Rem 700 35 whelen

35 Whelen is an excellent choice from deer to moose. Between my wife &me, we've owned or still own many of the 35 Whelens that have been made by the major manufacturers & even one old Eddystone that was rechambered in 35 Whelen.

Here's my advice fwiw, if you can find the Remington 700 (1988 version) I'd pay $500-600. In my opinion, that's the one you want first. My second choice would be the newer CDL version that just came out, that can go from $550-$700. I'd go to gunbroker.... you can get one for about $550 if you wait. If you are looking to go cheaper, I'd get the 7600 pump model. Maybe $450 or so. A tougher version to find is the Ruger 77 version... that will be more expensive too.

If you can grab the 1988 for about $550, I'd get it!!!!
