Frustrated At Bowtech!
Well my new Allegiance arrived today. Went to the pro shop to get it set up. The store was busy so the guy installed the accessories and sent me on my way. Before I left I went out back and fired a couple arrows. It shot okay for not being in tune. After I leave I notice the finish is not invelvet. Thinking I may have made a mistake and it is not offered on the Ally.
When I get it home I looked in the catalog and it is suppose to be invelvet as advertised. Not one to make waves I decide to leave it be. I take the bow outside and fire a few shots to begin my tune job. After about 12 arrows while at full draw I hear a cracking noise. I let up and look and the top limb justcracked!
Now I am not one to complain and I am fairly easy to get along with, but I am just a little upset at Bowtech right now. All I have heard about Bowtech is how great they are. This is my first Bowtech and with two strikes against them I am less than pleased.
I called the shop guy and told him about the limb first then the finish as not being as advertised. He said he will get some limbs coming Monday but not sure what he can do about the finish.
I know all bows have their problems. I am just upset thatI got it twice within a few hours. After spending over 800.00 I would hope that everything will be corrected.
