ok, some guys won't shoot anything but a buck for the wall, trophy hunters, mature buck hunters, whatever you call em, this staus most of the time comes with many years of hunting. There are 5 stages to hunting, anyone who has hunted long enough, knows these 5 stages.
1. shoota deer
2. shoot lots of deerIf
3. shoot a buck
4. shoot a mature buck
5. don't care if you shoot at all b/c you are satisfied with what you have taken.

If you ask a guy who has lots experience and some age if he would kill a fawn, he may say no because he has reached a certain stage in his career.
