I have killed a few deer with a shotgun out of a blind while my girlfriend was hunting with me. It works out very well, especially if you have someone who moves around a lot. My girlfriend read a magazine and ate candy, and I still killed a deer less that 10 yards away, and it had no clue we were there. Just make sure you set it up a few days prior to hunting with it. I did that this year though, and my blind got stolen.
