I've seen them go over a seven foot fence with little hesitation. Respect.
Easily.
Deer are lazy animals and if it's unnecessary, they won't do it. Even 3' fences, they'll pick the low spot or downed spot creating funnels.
If you want the ultimate hunting spot, run a fence across the property but leave an opening and hang a stand...LOL [8D]
How very true Rob! The deer at the one farm I hunt walk all the way to the end of the fence(3 ft. high) and then come up the hill! Needless to say my stand is at the corner of the fence!
