Took a nice tom this am! He was the boss, ruling part of Mauna Kea over three others. I popped him at 12 yards. Scouting did the trick. I got uphill of the roost area and found a spot 40yds from where the hill flattened out. It took a while for thebig daddy to make his way to the bottom of the slope and decide to come uphill. He came into view gobbling hard , and kept coming. He headed straight to me andveeredright at 12 yards. He cut a hard right, looking right at me,(major cramp holding my gun up and still). After a bit, he kept heading to my right. He gave me an openlane in the grass...andbang.
