I've had alot of luck catching walleye on nothing but a black & white 'Toxic' brand jig. The most important thing is getting your timing and rhythm right, if you can watch someone who catches alot of fish on jigs, and mimic their style and timing, that the bes way to learn. Lastly, getting yourself where with fish are is 80% of the game, This is hard working from shore andwithout a fishfinder, but if you can luck into a hole, you should try that place frequently.
