I believe that's mostly your problem. The pike and walleye are further out or in areas you probably wouldn't have access to unless ya had a boat. Walleye like deep water. Oops, I see you were already using deep water lures and stuff.

You need to get out there. If ya don't want a boat, buy an 11 foot rod.
