I hate to hear these stories, and most of which is due to the fact that DNR laws in Michigan are only distributed to hunters in a very "general context", and even when you do something within the laws, they are still all over it just in case you might have done something close to being illegal. It sure sounds to me that your rights were violated, but I'm afraid you will never win that battle. Why did this cause you so much financial trouble?
