We have them around Kalamazoo / Plainwell. I've had a cub in my backyard a couple of years. Numerous hunters have seen them around the last few years. There reproducing to. The DNR are finally saying that there might be a couple that migrate.
Truth in the matter the DNR released 8-12 just south of Kalamazoo a few years ago. It's not a well kept secret in southern west michigan.
