Want to try this gun out and put some meat on the table. Could a .410 slug take a pig down in a clean ,semi quick kill ??? If so what would be max range??? Thanks all , hope you had a good Easter
paka,yes a Hog can be killed with the .410
, but I would stay under 50yds with the 2.5" Rem or Win Slugs. I would also stay under 75yds with 3" Fed and Brenneke slugs. These recommendations work great on deer....On Hogs your shots will have to be more precise....I favor the Winchester 9410 with the 24" barrel for hunting...
