While having a micro adjustment on the rest would be nice, it is really something that you use infrequently.
I do really like the micro adjustments on the Spot Hogg, and old GKF Infinity type rests, I find that the dovetail on the LD allows me to loosen the allen bold and give the rest just a little nudge, quite effectively.

As an aid, I take a mechanical pencil and put a mark on the rest, right along the dovetail (one line above, one below). This gives me a visual indicator of how much the rest has moved while I am in the final stages of walkback tuning and such.
I agree 100% and I'd rather have the LD the way it is than pay more $$ for any micro capabilities.
