First of all I am the original owner of this very fine USA Redfield scope. It is a Redfield IER 1x4 20mm. It is 10" long. Weights 12oz.Has a 1" tube. Eye relief 9-10". The area where the rings mount is 5 1/2" long.
The IER scope is usually mounted forward of the receiver. Used primarily for scout rifles, shotguns with rifled barrels and some hand guns.
The crosshairs are duplex type. The glass on this scope is crisp, exceptionally bright and flawless. I would compare it to any High end Leupold. I know because I own a few of those as well.
I had this one mounted on a Hasting 12ga slug barrel for my Remington Model 1100.
It has slight ring marks but are very hard to see due to the camo pattern.
