Yes it helps but, does not correct the issue.

I would bet your peep is twisting to the left? If so, split a few right strands and it should straighten out.

Last thing you want to have to worry about is, nosing the peep to make the shot.

It takes a bit of time and patience to get it right, but, you will be thankful you did.
