First ? How new is the string?

I am dealing with this right now as well due to a new string.

You have to keep pressing it, splitting the strands and moving your peep until it is right.

I shot about 100 arrows this evening and had to press 4 different times to get it perfect.

Also, make sure your D-loop is knotted on opposite sides.
