That is an impressive shot. Way to go! Even more impressive is a light that illuminates the entire body at that distance. What kind of light were you using?

It isn't so much the light, as it is the $18,000 night vision camera, that makes that coyote appear illuminated. The light is infrared, the camera lens is GENIII, and both are the best of many products I've tested for our purposes. This footage is very poor, for a handful of reasons,including the fact we didn't have the time/energy to setup the film equipment properly on this stand. We walked 1/2 mile in- cameraman recovering from a hernia four days earlier- so we didn't pack the big lights or 30 pound tripod. I'll dig up some other clips to share later this summer.... just now winding donw from season and beginning to look over and edit our winter footage.
