I shot with a friend last weekend and when he would shoot his recurve the arrow would slap the side of his riser just below the shelf. He shot 3 different recurves and all did the same thing, it was hitting hard enough to knock the varnish off. It seemed if he snap shot this didnt happen or it wasnt quite as severe. Any ideas of what the heck is causing this? he isnt a green horn. Thank you
