Cloud 9.....I agree with everything that you had mentioned. Probably because I have almost the exact same gun, barrel and scope setup that you got. On a shotgun, where most of the shots a person is going to take(depending on your setup) will be under 50-60 yards, the red dot is the ticket. But just don' t forget to turn up the intensity when it gets light out. I made that mistake once(but only once

). It was about 7:00 and I forgot to turn it up. I had probably a 130 class buck 45 yards out in front of me walking broadside with only one shooting lane. I seriously thought to myself....done deal. Because for some reason, I don' t get nervous or jumpy until after I shoot. I shot and the deer just bolted. I didn' t think that there was anyway that I could miss at that distance, so I just watched the deer run 200 yards into some thick stuff waiting for it to tip over. No dice. I went up to where I shot at it and all I saw was a little hair...no fat, no meat....nothin. The dot wasn' t bright enough for me to center in the scope and I just shot low. Needless to say I was bit**in at myself for a few hours. LOL
