RE: 243 vs. 25-06
i have a couple friends up north who hunt elk moose and caribou with 25-06 they have made 200 + yards on moose 300 to 400 + yards with Elk and even mad a really good shot on a caribou a 537 yards one shot kill so if i had to pick over the 25-06 or the 243 i would defintley go for the 25-06 basicly a neck down 30-06 so what ever
