Default RE: what are some good magazines

I read Deer & Dear Hunting, Bowhunting, Field and Stream, American Hunter, Outdoor life, Bowhunter, PA Fish & Game, PA Outdoor News and others and have for years.

However after awhile it all begins to repeat. I moved several times to several different states where I knew no one and had to find new territory to hunt. You think your are hard pressed to find a place to hunt around your own territory??

I found archers to be very helpful most every place I lived. My best contacts were made in bars, not because I spent the most time there....well, maybe I was a little depressed to not have a archery hunting location when the season was getting close.

I ask questions about archery. If you don't come off as a "Know-it-all" most archers are very helpful.

However if you are under age or the bar room is not where you want to spend your time. Archery clubs are very helpful and often have land to hunt and the cost is not bad if you put in work hours..

In fact with these forums and the web I believe contain more knowledge than is needed for sucess.
