I agree! Books are a better use of the dollars spent.A lot more usefull information.Using amazon.com alibris,and some other sources to purchase new and used books you can spend reasonable amounts of money and get enough good reading to last a very long time.
As it relates to magazines Deer and Deer Hunting is a must have.North American Whitetail is quite good,Bow and Arrow hunting has some pretty unbiased clothing and equipment reviews.
