I Killed with cedar arrows wrapped in sinew with flint heads...deer die with a good hit...

When it comes to hi tech. - I use the NAP spitfire XP's. I've never lost a deer with them ...and they always leave blood on my pants after tracking!

How many grains are those flint heads.

I like Spitfires too, but stopped using them because I could never replace the blades. Those little screws gave me fits. They ended up being a one and done head. I really like them though, and you're right about the blood trails. I never had trouble finding a deer shot with them. Then again they usually died within sight.
