Not til April 21st here, and I thank god this year. Usually I would want the season earlier, but by this time friday the river by my house(meremac river)will be up 43' out of the banks. It might be the worst flood since 1982, and we had a really big one in '93. I-44 was closed an hour after i left college for home(spring break). When i went over the bridge at 1pm it was 8ft or better from the bridge. At 4pm it was over the bridge and 44 was closed and had to be re routed. It is not going to be a good next couple of days here in Missouri.
Hopefully those type of flooding rains stop come a couple of months due to the poulting season.... otherwise, your gonna see a shortage of new birds
I think we will be fine. It is supposed to crest saturday, and will probably take a week or so to go down, but most of the breeding doesnt start til the first week or two of april.
