It will get frustrating for a while but you will get it with practice. I started calling about a year and a half ago and this year started contest calling. At my first contest i placed 3rd in the open goose and then last saturday placed 8th in the novice goose and 5th in the duck. Just work on the basics right now, cluck, honk, moan. And then with time you will be able to do the more advanced notes, but DONT move on to them until you got the fundamentals down (scott will teach you all this in his dvd)
