As a Graphic Designer, Germ I have to agree, that is one crappylogo.I've seen 3rd graders come up with better. They did not put much thought into it at all. [:'(]
Haha I was just thinking the same thing. They need to re-evaluate their decision to hire their graphic designer.
I'd be happy to offer my services to help them redesign it. At oh lets say $60 an hour the going rate for logo design around where I live.
And $60/hour is low compared to some metropolitain designers. I've seen rates as high as $600 for initial mock-up, then $50-$75/hr for re-design
With that said, I just designed a four-color logo for $25, lol.

Oh I know what a design can go for in the Metro areas Matt. $25 huh, your still trying to get your name out there aren't you. LOL We've all been there. Thankfully I don't have to do that anymore as I got myself working for a school district full time now and don't need to lowball myself to steal work away from design firms in the area. I can pretty much set my price when I want.
