Default RE: Mechanicals/XBows?

my friends use the spitfire 100/125 and no problems on their bucks shot at 20 yds or so broadside.they use 100 gr on 20 inch arrows and 125 on the 22 inch arrows.

they cant find arrows most of time after shot.

make sure you use only NEW retainers when hunting, not ones you shot with at practice.

this tension holds the blades secure.

i sight crossbows in for a LOT of hunters now asi have time and dont charge etc.

so, they drop them off.

i like it, its fun and from everyones help on here, i look like a expert, which i am not .

anyhow, those practice blades for spitfires are real neat.

you really dont have to practice with the razors inserts but i do shoot 1 to see if they open and hit same hole as practice ones,THEY DO.

1 guy shot a turkey with one last year.

only thing is the TIPS will bend if you hit rock etc but can be straigthen out on a grinder and then used for practice point.

i like a fixed point myself for archery hunting, hard to change after so many years.

but, a mechinical can be use on arrows not used on crossbow, i have shot deer years ago with a mechinicaldrilled/glued on a cedar arrowon 40/45 pd recurve and arrow went right thru and landed 25 yds away.

cedar arrows are deadly with a spitfire on tipif used broadsidebehind shoulder ONLY.
