The bigger case of the 350 mag. really comes into play when you go to 250 grain or heavier bullets, that are neededfor deep penetration in the biggest animials.

With the 180 and 200 grain bullets, the 350 is about 150 fps faster... but with 250's on up, it increases to200 fps faster... The added bullet weight, and the added velocity, makesthe 350 mag,quite a bit more cartridgeon the biggest animials.

For deer or blk. bear the 200 grain bullets work just fine...
