RE: Handicapped hunter needs advice
You guys are great!!! I'm really learning a lot from you all. WI is a little bit of a drive for me but who know? I was at the farm before light this morning and saw 4 toms from the truck using my spotting scope. It's a large field planted in winter wheat. A creek runs down the backside of the field and about 40 yards off of the back edge, there is an old cemetery with 1 gravesite in it and a couple of big oaks in it. A perfect ambush site I think. The turkeys have a habit of coming from the creek in the morning and coming into the field, passing between the cemetery and the creek. I'll try to get a picture( from a distance of course). I 'm going to check it out once a week until the season comes in and be carefull not to spook them. Well, I'm headed to the gunshop to pick up my son's gun and get the sights installed on mine.
God Bless,
