Just goes to show ya why it' s so important to try, huh! I' m like you...that surprises me. I think Core-Loks are fine hunting shells, but may have to re-think them as target shells as well!

Only problem is that my deer gun will barely shoot .5" groups at 25 yards...LOL


I did see a similar thing last summer, but in 223' s. My 223 single loves the Back Hlls V-Max 55gr' s. My buddy' s #1B wouldn' t shoot a 3" group with them at 100 yards.

He switched to those cheap FMJ Winchesters...and shot SEVERAL sub-MOA groups. Some goups were approaching .5" .
