I was out at my property yesterday and saw a big group of hens hunting for acorns. They were in the area where I found the roost trees last week. I think there were 12 or 13 in the flock. I saw a group of gobblers and jakes a couple of weeks ago. Things are looking good!!
Thats good news JM. I did a lot of walking around/Driving around last week because I had spring break. I think the turkeys here are starting to break up into smaller flocks again. Anyone else noticed this? I've seen the same flock of 8 Longbeards in the same field almost everyday, I'm sure they'll change their pattern but it's looking good over my way too! Anyone else scouting yet?
