The best advice I can give you if you want to kill a turkey with your bow is leave your gun at home. Don't even say you will just leave it in the truck..... you'll end up carrying your gun. You have to committ yourself to killing one with a bow.
Other than that, a portable ground blind is pretty well standard equipment. It can be done without one, but thats a tough tought thing to do. Decoys help immensely. Mouth calls are pretty well a must. For broadheads I use Rocket Hammerheads. Whatever you choose, ideally you want your arrow to stay in the bird. Turn your poundage down... 60# is the absolute max I'd recommend.
Study up on pictures of the vitals as well. Shot placement should be HIGH! Hit'em high watchem die... hit'em low... watchem go. Better to miss high and just get some feathers than hit one in the breast and lose it.
