Sennheiser makes the best , but they are also one of the highest priced...........as for the rode,if you are going to use a suspension system I would look elwhere as i can't stand their huge mount, but the NTG2 itself is an excellent mic.............as for Azden the suspension system is good, the mics. are reasonably priced around $175 for the SGM1x and $250 for the SGM2x, the sgm 2x has both an omni direction and a super cardoid mic.

Unless you are using a consumer camera, stay away from any mics. that use a mini plug.............XLR is the way to go.
