Actually I surprised nobodies shot more bedded bucks..

I personally have shot more, that were laying flat on their bellies, with their head almost flat on the ground waiting for me to walk right by them.
Not all deer take off at the the sight or smell of humans, big ones especially, lay low and let you walk right past them.
Eg. how many hunters have at shot a smaller buck only to see a large sometimes B&C contender, take off right after.
It is to their advantage, if they can slip away without getting noticed and more often than not, thats how they do it..
