I keep a RWS model 34 by my back door. Its a single cock 177 that shoots over 900 fps with good accuracy for the velocity. I think you can still get one for about 150 bucks. I have killed three or four crows with it and a bunch of squirrels. Everybody needs a good pellet rifle.
