Glad you are haivng good luck with yours. I took mine out today finally and found out that it does not like cold weather and gets so much wet build up in the touch hole that i have to take it inside, pull the lock and touchhole liner and dry everything out. I was finally able to get it off after 5 pans of priming powder[:@]

Just for Chits and grins i took that old 51" long barrel smoothbore musket out to see how it would react and i had one flash in the pan due to me using to little of powder. That smoothbore was 4" high @ 58 yards with 70 grains FFg Goex, .015 patch and a home cast "early today" .530 roundball. The two shots i took measured 2"

They just dont make'em like they used to
