How do you like these old powder burners now?
Well, I have to say I'm hooked real bad. But DANG, no black powder in sight. Guess I'll have to do a bulk on-line order.

Yeah, It's a strong load. I was really bummed out that the battery on my chrono was dead. I really would like to know what that load is doing.

What's a good 100 yard load for a .54 ball anyway? Except for my very first two five shot groups with this gun - one with 85 grains, and one with 90 grains - all of my shooting has been with 95 grains. I know that's overkill for target work (but it's fun), but what about hunting?
