i think most people just read a tape different
i know i have said 4/8 even 6/8
but in school i was taught you round down to the smallest faction
I.E 4/8 =1/2

I don't understand why they don't use 1/10ths instead of the 1/8ths. It would be easier to add up and just makes sense.
