Am I seeing that right? It looks like youhit something off the belly of the limb right in the middle of that splinter.
That white spot that's a 1/2 circle in the center............does it have any texture or feel like an indent?

Were you hanging it by that spot or using a pro-pod on that part of the limb?
Good news is thats not a "Crack", it's a break in the outer finish and possibly the outermost layer of glass underneath.

I've seen splinters before on bows that look exactly like that onebut usually they are on the outside edge of the limb from some sort of impact. When you break the integrity of that outer layer of finish it can peel like that at the width of the spot that was impacted. In any event they have that tell tale mark or dent right in the center of the part that is lifting.

Looks more of a "ding" or slight delamination than a crack though. Either way tough break. As I said on the phone, if you have any problems let me know.
Scott, I agree... to me a crack is horizontal or something that goes perpendicular to the material of the limb. To me it looks as if a piece of the top layer of the limb has come loose. The chip actually came from my pro-pod, it caught on the loose piece when I put it on (the mule deer target 11 ). I definitely don't foresee any problems with Bowtech customer service.
Matt, you're correct. Buckeye and I had talked about that a little earlier... That white spot in the center of the limb is only about 1/4" in diameter.
