This is how I look at it... That Havoctec as great of a bow as it is, isn't worth as much to anyone else as it is. It's resale value isn't going to be that great. Not squeezin' you here, just telling the truth. I say keep the Hoyt and do whatever you have to do until you can get another one. It never hurts to have that bow in the double bow case.
I sort of had the same dilemma with my Razortec... didn't want to get rid of it but couldn't really justify having that and spending the cash on a new one. So, I "sold" the Razortec to my dad for a ridiculously low price knowing that he won't ever get rid of it and at any time if I decide I want it back... I can get it cuz I know how much he paid for it
Thats kinda like buying your dad what you want for x-mas
I'm a thinker... sometimes
Another "kind of funny" story that pertains to this... FYI my dad and I are very close. He bought me as Benelli Super Black Eagle II for my college graduation gift. Well I bought him the same thing for his 50th birthday last september. While he was showing my grandma, she goes "Geez Jerry, that's a really nice shotgun" and my dad turns and looks at me with a giant grinand says, "yeah, Dustin's no idiot, he knows that when I kick the bucket... he'll have two!" What could I say to that!?!?
**EDIT** Mich, I still say keep the bow
