Yes it is, that is all I would use. They seem to really like the high pitched scratchy sound. I use my slat to get them close and if need be, I use Primos Diamond Yelper mouth call softly when they are really close. I would reccomend a high mitched call for Osceolas. Aluminum seems to work really good.
