Default RE: male or female rabbit dogs?

That's a good question and one I get asked a lot. I've had and have phenomenal male & female dogs. In terms of which I like better, my 2 best are a male & female. If I had to choose a pack of males or females though, I'd run all males. Females come in heat and you will have to lay them up when they do. I've got enough dogs that this isn't a problem, but like clockwork, as soon as 1 comes in, she brings 1 or 2 more in heat. Males tend to be a little more hard headed and like to hike and mark their territory on things. The big disadvantage w/ males in kenneling together, some will JUST NOT live w/ another male and will kill them or be killed. I have 2 like this, my Field Champion and another male w/ not allow another male in their kennel. They are both top notch dogs and aren't going anywhere so I put up w/ it.
