If you shoot a compound and you refuse to shoot a B&C with a gun then I suggest that you try the following.......

Put down your compound and take a B&C with an osage stick bow with cedar shafts with flint broadheads wrapped in sinew....

Take technology away and do it like the indians....

nice one, Michigan. I agree. I would shoot it in a heartbeat and enjoy every bit of it. I started bowhunting to get in more hunting besides gun season. Ended up loving bowhunting and didn't gun hunt for about 5 years. A few years back I was invited on a late season doe harvest and had forgot how much I enjoyed gun hunting. Yes, it seems easy and it probably is. But the truth is bow hunting with a compound isn't hard. I've taken deer every year since I started bow hunting. Gee, the Indians did it without cams, releases, sights, 350 fps bows, drop away rests, etc., etc., etc. And we want to act like we are some hunting god because we take a deer with a compound. Yes, I'm laughing at myself here, too. I truly respect people like Fred Bear, Howard Hill, Paul Shafer. I don't hunt with my recurve because I don't haven't put in the time to become proficient enough to be confident of a clean kill. But I enjoy HUNTING and spending time in the woods. I love guns. I love bows. Its all a blast.
