The MHZ won't make a difference. To mount the receiver on the camera... it does come with a mount where you can mount it on the hot shoe of the camera, or you can buy an aftermarket bracket and mount it several different ways, there is a bracket that mounts on the bottom of the camera and comes up in a 90 behind your hand grip, and the receiver mounts on it vertically, or you can buy a split mount that goes in your hot shoe and you can mount your receiver there and also have an additional mount for your shotgun mic if necessary. Plenty of options out there!

Also, get you a pair of headphones to plug into the camera and it will help you with mixing the sound.
