I would never use an outfitter, but for the sake of argument, I would say I would opt for the firearm. I guess the way I see it, if I paid for an outfitted hunt, I must have done so in order to have a shot a trophy, so last day of the hunt, a firearm is legal, a firearm is what I would have.
i pretty sure that all non-resident hunting in canada must at least have an outfitter or guide. i went to ontario in '02 moose hunting and we had both. i personally would take the gun the last day.
