I've probably killed as many deer with a bow as I have a gun and I'd have to say yes, I'd take it with a gun unless I just happened to be bowhunting at the time. Some of the easiest kills I have made were with a bow. I don't see much difference where I hunt but then I've shot deer as close as 20 yards with a gun and as far away as 40 with my bow. Folks, I'm going to hunt deer, buck or doe, with whatever weapon is in season. They all tasted the same to me regardless of what weapon I used.
