personally i like the ballistics and velocity with a more powerful .224 gun. .. . I didnt have to spend a fortune to get a model 70 win in 223 WSSM that came with a simmons scope (which i did remove) its not the worlds BEST scope but nonetheless it is a scope and it was under 500 with tax and everything i hand load for it and i have seen some AMAZING accuracy for a factory rifle the WSSM is large enough to take deer with ease any skeptics can come hunting with me and watch the carnage of a well placed shot withmy nosler partition 60 gr pushing 3800 fps for varmint hunting and just plain having fun with very light recoil i load 55 grain V-max pushin 4000 it beats the swift at all bullet weights and totally stomps the 250 not much selection in factory ammo but what is offered is of good quality and suitable for any application
